Presented as part of Malthouse Theatre’s Helium season in association with ILBIJERRI Theatre
SEETHrough is an interdisciplinary performance work exploring themes of masculinity and masculine exchange across Blackfulla/ Whitefulla cultures. Pivoting around the shared experience of the shaving ritual, the work follows the fictionalised biographies of two men, one Blackfulla, one Whitefulla, from childhood to adulthood.
This performance is part of Next Wave’s keynote initiative Blak Wave. A ticket to the 4pm performance of SEETHrough on Sat 3 May will also permit the ticket holder into Blak Wave’s Artist Panel event , starting at 5.15pm in the same venue.
